Building Links With PDF Files And Blogging List

To further build a variety of links, I plan to upload PDF and Word Documents with links within the documents pointing to specific posts in my website. To do this I will extract my EzineArticle posts into a Word file and then convert it into PDF. These will then be uploaded to these sharing sites:

4shared (PDF)
Box (PDF & Doc)
Gazhoo (PDF & Doc)
Gigasize (PDF & Doc)
Zoho (PDF & DOC)
Scribd (PDF & Doc)
Yudu (PDF & Doc)
DocStoc (doc & PDF)
Calameo (doc & PDF)
Google Drive (doc & PDF)
FreePDFHosting (PDF)
Issuu (PDF)
PDFCast (PDF)
Doocu (PDF)
Docuter (PDF & Doc)


I chose these sites because they have an online document viewer where the links can be clicked on. This makes the URL capable of being followed by the Google Spiders. Here is a site with a more extensive list:

So far, this is the steps that I will be taking:

1. Publish a blog post
2. Social bookmark a previous blog post
3. Spin a blog post into 30 copies
4. Upload one copy at EzineArticles and store the rest. Only use the rest once EzineArticles has approved the post.
5. Upload the rest of the copies from a previous spin in the rest of the Article Directories.
6. Social bookmark previous Article Directory posts.
7. Upload a PDF version of an EzineArticle

There is no specific period to achieve this list. I just do as much as I can but in sequence.

Secondary Layer Links

After dropping out of ranking last week, I decided to install the Wordpress SEO plugin by Yaost. This is because one of the features of the plugin is to make any page or post no follow, no rank. With this pligin, I made all my storefront pages no follow / no rank and the very next day my ranks rose again. Since I've installed the plugin, I've also revised all my posts according to the SEO suggestions of this plugin, which is another cool feature. This is where I stand today:

My next plan is to activate my Secondary Link Layer.  This layer consists of article directories which will have posts pointing to my Anchor Layer only. To achieve this, I will use the article from each Anchor Layer site and publish it in these Secondary sites. Here are the sites I plan to use:

I don't know if I am going to get banned or unpublished for using duplicate content for these sites, but I will remove the ones that do.

1st Month Income Report

Officially, it's been one month since I began my brand new website. I must admit that progress could have been faster but unfortunately my day job took a toll on my time with a number of outstation trips, so progress was slow.

So far I have only written 18 posts. According to my "beastly resource" plan, I should have written a post a day which would make it about 30 posts, so I'm way behind.

In terms of linking, I have only done proper linking for my first two posts only. Need to speed up max.

As you probably can tell, my web ranking had dropped drastically after making a good climb. I have concluded that it is due to having too many Amazon links. You see, what I did about a week or so ago was to create separate pages in my blog, with each page hosting about almost two dozen Amazon ads of various products. This was meant to be sort of like an online store within my blog. But it seems Google might be viewing this as spammy and I seem to have been penalized for this.

To counter this effect, I have installed the Robots Meta plugin in my Wordpress and I have made those pages nofollow and noindex. I will be monitoring my ranking in the next couple of days and hope that this solves the problem.

Even though it is still brand new with so little linking and posts, I seem to have made a little money. You may laugh at my current sales because I can't buy a pack of cigarettes with it but this just shows the potential of the site even though it is very new and I am very optimistic.  Here's the income amount:

ADSENSE:  $0.11
AMAZON:  $0.68

TOTAL:  $2.38

I will still be using Amazon for the moment until I've finished my beastly resource before finding for a newer merchant.
