More Linking Options: Slide Sharing Sites

It is extremely important to diversify our links back to our posts to make them look natural to Google as well as capture sources of traffic that most people might overlook. So far I have been building links using Main Article Directories, Web 2.0 Properties, Social Bookmarking and PDF Sharing sites. I have now increase the diversity by using Slide Sharing Sites. Here's the list of sites that I am using:

SlideShare
SlideServe
MyPlicks
AuthorStream
SlideBoom
PowerShow
SlideWorld
Zoho
Box
Gazhoo
Gigasize
Scribd

What is important is to choose sites that not only allow us to upload PowerPoint Slides easily, but that also have an online viewer where the links are click thru and that also allows us to customize our profile.

What we need to do is to first create a PowerPoint Slide out of an existing article from our website. Just pick out important points from the article and prepare a good slide. If there are links within the article to other posts in our blog, make sure to incorporate these links. Then at the end of the slide, prepare a call to action to the post.

So with that, here is our updated routine tasks:

  1. Write and publish a blog post
  2. Social bookmark a previous blog post
  3. Write and publish an EzineArticle
  4. Write and publish a Squidoo lens
  5. Social bookmark two link posts
  6. Spin an EzineArticle 30 times
  7. Publish the spin on the main article directories
  8. Publish previous spin on the secondary article directories
  9. Convert an EzineArticle into PDF and upload it
  10. Convert a blog post into a PowerPoint Slide and upload it.
Again, this is not a one a day task list. Just do as much as you can do on a daily basis, carrying on the next day from where you left off.
